Sherline 3095 – Milling Collet 1/eight”
Sherline milling collets are designed to be used with the Morse #1 interior spindle taper that may be standard
on each the Sherline lathe and vertical mill. On account of the shallow perspective of the Morse #1 taper, while the drawbolt is
tightened, higher clamping drive can also be implemented while in comparison to the clamping drive of WW collets. Subsequently, we suggest the use of those milling collets for containing miniature measurement finish mills
(three/sixteen” or 1/four” shank), #1 and smaller middle drills or Dremel® bits (1/eight” shank), and diverse different cutters.
Cutting equipment held by way of those collets will have to have a shank measurement inside .001″ of the synthetic measurement. As a result of of
the shallow taper perspective, those collets is not going to loosen from the spindle with out backing the drawbolt off a few revolutions and tapping the drawbolt to unfastened the collet.
Nice for containing miniature measurement finish turbines
Additionally Nice for #1 and smaller middle drills or Dremel® bits (1/eight” shank), and diverse different cutters
